Experience a different side of Downtown Troy on the last Friday of every month, with the exception of December. Each month the streets come alive with visitors while the retail stores stay open late and you can experience music pop-ups, art pop-ups, good food, and delicious drinks!

The Troy Business Improvement District is hosting a city-wide scavenger hunt, where you can explore downtown Troy, discover local shops, and learn fun facts along the way. Participants will pick up their maps from the Arts Center of the Capital region and follow the map with questions throughout the city, and each stop will have a hidden "brick" waiting to be found. Stop by participating stores, discover interesting facts and histories about our charming downtown, and collect signatures as you go!
Pick up your scavenger hunt maps at The Capital Region Arts Center at 5:00pm on Friday and see where the map takes you!
Scavenger Hunt Game Rules

Get Your Card: Pick up your scavenger hunt card at the Art Center of the Capital Region, located at 265 River Street. The Downtown Troy BID will have a check-in table next to the staircase.

Find the Bricks: Search for a brick inside participating retail shops. Be considerate of the space and take a photo when you find a brick.

Get Your Card Initialed: Show your photo or tell the shop where you found the brick. To get your card initialed, answer a Downtown Troy trivia question provided by the shop. After answering correctly, they’ll initial your card.

Find All 17 Bricks: Return your stamped card to the Art Center of the Capital Region for a chance to win a $200 VISA gift card in our raffle celebrating RPI’s Bicentennial.

Find 10 Bricks: Return your stamped card to the Art Center of the Capital Region for a chance to win a Downtown Troy swag bundle, which includes a sweatshirt, pin, hat, and tote bag.

Find 6 Bricks: Return your stamped card to the Art Center of the Capital Region for a chance to win a Downtown Troy hat.

Drop-Off and Drawing: Drop off your card by 8:30 p.m. Winners will be announced and contacted by 9 p.m.
